This very ad selling pasta sauce intrigued me very much. Very creative, but was it effective, selling to its audience members? This Knorr Pasta Sauce ad was advertised by DDB Spain Advertising. And I believe this ad was awarded for its creativity as well. Right off the bat, you see an attractive girl, whose body is awkawardly lying on a flight of stairs with her eyes open. One of her red heels is near her on one of the steps. She has a chest wound that is leaking what looks like to be a white, creamy sauce. Leaks from her wound to the bottom floor of the stairs leaving a puddle of the white, creamy sauce. Near her chest in small print reads. " Not All Sauces Are Tomatoe Sauces". Yes the girl was murdered and the sauce is the culprit. Knorr pasta sauce I believe is trying to sell thier variety of flavors they have for thier sauce products. Thier could be ranges of Alfredo sauce to Pesto. They do not just have the red, tomatoe sauce. Also blood is in relation to the red tomatoe sauce due to the color. But the ad is not selling red tomatoe sauce. The ad is trying to sell this white, creamy sauce. The audience targeted I don't think is limited to a specific group. The fact that the woman is murdered tells me, Knorr Pasta Sauce is not joking around about thier variety of flavors they offer. Promising their products are to die for.
